I’m an old school table top RPG player. DND 2nd edition I started in. I was never an actor level RPer like some folks I played with, but I can definitely play along and enjoy doing so at times.

I think a certain level of RP is required to really kind of uphold some of the logistics and operations controls in a sense, so i can kind of see the fun in it to a certain level. I'd definitely give it a go in a milder way if give the chance.

^ Agree with this. It's kind of natural in SC because you need to communicate in a certain way. This is kind of what I was getting at. Like, I feel immersed in the universe when people are speaking in statuses, ETAs, next steps, visuals, etc. Which is more-or-less how we'd be speaking if we were actually there.

That's the "RP" I'm most interested in. I'm not vert interested in RPing a lost boy on a planet on a quest to find out who his father was.
